Position Overview
Total Civil Construction & Engineering, LLC (TCCE) is seeking a Safety Supervisor to support field operations and ensure the consistent execution of our safety program across active construction projects. This role partners closely with field leadership to enforce safety standards, mitigate risk, and promote a culture where safety is integrated into daily operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Enforce company and project-specific safety policies and procedures
- Conduct jobsite inspections, audits, and safety walk-throughs
- Lead incident investigations, including root cause analysis and reporting
- Deliver safety training (e.g., fall protection, excavation, confined space, silica, GHS)
- Maintain site safety documentation (AHAs, SDS, permits, inspections)
- Collaborate with Project Managers, Superintendents, and Foremen to ensure compliance
- Support workers’ compensation reporting and safety performance tracking
- Promote a proactive, accountable safety culture across all job sites
Qualifications
- 2+ years of construction safety experience (civil/site development preferred)
- OSHA 30-Hour Construction Certification (required)
- OSHA 510, ASP, or CHST (preferred)
- First Aid/CPR Certification (required)
- Working knowledge of Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) standards and construction safety practices
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and construction management systems (e.g., Procore)
- Strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills
Additional Requirements
- Bilingual English/Spanish (preferred)
- Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record
- Ability to travel to job sites across MD, VA, and DC (2–3 times per week or as required)
- Ability to pass background screening and drug and alcohol testing (required for federal projects and safety-sensitive roles)
