This is a temporary/seasonal position, full-time hours Monday-Friday.

POSITION SUMMARY:  As a Warehouse Associate, you will be responsible for assisting and serving customers and other warehouse staff with customer requests in a distribution warehouse setting. This role involves loading and unloading products and materials, stocking and/or shelving products, helping with inventory and direct-to-customer supply and customer service. Additionally, this role will be responsible for helping keep the warehouse, surrounding grounds and yard in a neat and orderly condition.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • One year of experience in a warehouse or similar setting.
  • Forklift certification or the ability to become certified (training provided by employer).
    • One year of customer service or sales experience preferred.
    • Familiarity with the construction industry preferred.

  • Provides customer service in the warehouse by assisting customers when they come in.
  • Load and unload trucks, trailers or other transport devices; manages the proper storage of items.
  • Receive, ship, store, and/or move materials within the warehouse and maintains accurate records.
  • Operates forklift safely and keeps the warehouse and grounds clean and orderly.
  • Prepares trucks for supply delivery and performs additional warehouse or delivery related duties as necessary or assigned.
