VACUUM TRUCK DRIVER

  C.W. Roberts Contracting, Inc. (CWR) is a growing road construction company. We are seeking to fill a Vacuum Truck Driver position for our local operations.

Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities: 

• Perform pre-trip and post trip inspections
• Report any problems or malfunctions
• Will drive to assigned jobsite to vacuum and to clean sand, rock and debris from pipes and structures
• Demonstrate a basic understanding of acceptable pipe cleanliness standards and joint tolerances, with the ability to read and follow construction plans
• Safely enter and exit manholes and inlets for camera placement and retrieval
• Must be able to load and transport vacuumed material to the assigned destination in a safe and efficient manner
• Comply with all company, DOT, Federal, State, and local safety regulations
• Will complete a trip ticket for each move, keep receipt of materials hauled, and turn in tickets promptly
• Complete all required paperwork and turn it in as required
• Able to perform minor maintenance and repairs as needed
• Will assist crew as needed
• Other duties as assigned

Requirements: 

• Minimum of 2 years of verifiable CDL driver experience required
• Camera operator experience preferred
• Must have a valid Florida CDL Driver’s license, A or B
• Tanker Endorsement required
• Must be familiar with FMCSR
• Must have a current medical card
• Basic computer skills required
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Must be able to work days, nights, or weekends as needed
• Employer conducts drug testing and background check
