We are seeking an experienced Manufacturing Safety Professional to lead and enhance safety performance across the company's fabrication, powder coating, and assembly operations. They will be ensuring strict compliance with OSHA and EHS regulations while actively driving continuous improvement in workplace safety.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, implement, and maintain comprehensive safety programs ensuring worker safety and regulatory compliance.
  • Improve facility safety metrics through proactive monitoring, data analysis, and targeted initiatives.
  • Process, investigate, and document all safety incidents, ensuring timely and effective corrective actions.
  • Conduct mandatory safety orientations and ongoing employee safety training.
  • Perform regular inspections, audits, and evaluations to ensure full OSHA/EHS compliance.
  • Lead Root Cause Analyses (RCAs) for all incidents and near-misses.
  • Administer training programs for specialized equipment such as forklifts, scissor lifts, cranes, powder coating tools, and respirators.
  • Maintain accurate and updated safety, compliance, and training records.
  • Oversee environmental compliance, including waste handling, air quality, and chemical safety.
  • Collaborate closely with supervisors and leadership to fully integrate safety into daily operational activities.

Required Qualifications and Skills

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in manufacturing safety (fabrication/powder coating/assembly preferred).
  • Strong knowledge of OSHA standards, EHS best practices, and industrial safety compliance.
  • OSHA 30-hour certification is required.
  • Excellent communication and training abilities.
  • Ability to analyze safety data, identify trends, and implement effective improvements.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and safety management software.
  • Experience with ISO 14001 or similar environmental management systems. (Preferred)
  • Familiarity with lean manufacturing and continuous improvement processes. (Preferred)
