The Payroll & Benefits Intern plays an essential role in supporting payroll and benefits processes, developing real-world skills that enhance the employee experience. This internship provides a valuable opportunity to learn about payroll and benefits administration while working closely with the HR Department to ensure efficient and accurate processing. This internship may lead to future full-time opportunities based on performance and business needs.

What You’ll Do:

  • Assist with processing and auditing weekly and biweekly payroll to ensure employees are paid accurately and on time
  • Verify timecards and track paid time off, helping employees manage their time and benefits with confidence
  • Support benefits enrollment and termination processes, ensuring employees receive timely and accurate benefit information
  • Help maintain organized and up-to-date employee records, supporting compliance and a smooth employee experience
  • Take part in onboarding new team members, helping set them up for success from day one
  • Contribute to data entry, file management, and reconciliation efforts that keep our HR systems running smoothly
  • Collaborate with the HR team to ensure seamless payroll operations and a positive employee experience
  • Tackle a variety of administrative tasks, with opportunities to learn and grow in the HR and payroll field

What We Are Looking For:

  • Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a degree program in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality
  • Basic knowledge of payroll and benefits administration is a plus
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to evolving responsibilities
