Job Brief.

Our team is looking for an NCCCO Certified Crane Operator to support various construction projects throughout the Mid-Atlantic Region. The ideal candidate will be experienced in operating cranes for hook work and must hold current NCCCO certifications in TLL (Telescopic Boom Cranes – Fixed Cab) and Lattice Boom Cranes.

Core Areas of Responsibility.

  • Operate crane using foot pedals, levers, dials, and switches to control speed and direction of movement
  • Analyze load charts to confirm safe lifting capacities
  • Ensure loads are properly rigged and safe for lifting or moving
  • Perform daily safety inspections of equipment
  • Grease, oil, and perform minor repairs as needed
  • Maintain accurate service logs and required paperwork
  • Follow company safety policies and promote an Incident and Injury Free (IIF) work environment
  • Complete other duties as assigned by management

Skills You Possess.

  • 1-3 years of relevant operator experience.
  • Ability to perform hook work required and experience driving piles and sheeting is preferred.
  • Able to perform manual labor in all types of environments and conditions, including heavy lifting (in excess of 50 lbs.)
  • The ability to comprehend and follow specific instructions.
  • Interpersonal competencies that include a drive for results, the need for closure, effective oral communication skills, organization, planning, trust, respect, being dependable and cooperation.
  • Good housekeeping standards and ability to observe safety procedures and report any potentially unsafe conditions to management.

Requirements.

  • NCCCO Certification in TLL and Lattice Boom
  • Must pass DOT Physical
  • 18 years of Age
  • Able to Pass a Drug Test
  • Legally Eligible to Work in the US
  • If assigned to a government project, US citizenship and background check may be required.
