Maintenance Mechanic Review
Maintenance support for Lehman-Roberts asphalt plants, Memphis Stone & Gravel wash plants and rolling stock.
Maintenance Mechanic Responsibilities
- Welding using oxygen acetylene, Stick and Mig
- Layout and cut steel using oxygen acetylene cutting torch
- Fabricate and weld various parts of asphalt and wash plants
- Safe usage of shop equipment, including shear, break press, punch press and radial saw
- Safe usage of fabrication shop forklifts
- Rebuild/ repair gearboxes, pumps and cylinders
- Share in company core values of humility, relationships, continuous improvement and stewardship
Maintenance Mechanic Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent, required
- Valid driver’s license, with good driving record
- Have reliable transportation
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in all position welding
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in steel fabrication
- Working knowledge of pumps, gearboxes and cylinders
- Ability to work Saturdays and overtime as needed
- Ability to work in Hernando, MS area
Work Conditions/ Physical Requirements
- Primarily inside shop work, exposures consistent with welding environment
- Plant site work, as needed
- Ability to lift 50 lbs

- Combination experience of Welder/ Fabricator/ Mechanic
- Millwright
- Military- Mechanic
