IES Commercial, Inc. is seeking a full-time Electrician for Traffic Signal, Roadway Lighting, and Airport projects throughout Nebraska and Kansas-$3,500 HIRE BONUS, Per Diem as Eligible.

Job Summary

  1. Works with, directs and supervises apprentice/helper craft workers
  2. Construction and installation of street lighting, traffic signals and airport lighting
  3. Works from heights in a bucket truck
  4. Complies with all company and customer safety policies and procedures
  5. Travel required.

Qualifications  

  1. Street lighting and traffic signal experience a plus
  2. Ability to read blueprints and construction documents
  3. Successfully pass pre-employment (post offer) drug test and MVR check when responsibilities require operating motor vehicles.
  4. Valid State Electrical Journeyman License.
  5. 4 - 6 years’ recent Roadway Lighting, Airports, Traffic Signal electrical experience.
  6. Supervisory experience in an industrial electrical construction environment.
  7. High School Diploma/GED.
  8. OSHA 30 or ability to obtain.
