We a looking for an experienced Senior Estimator to join our team in Findlay Ohio.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the estimating efforts for design-build projects from concept to completion.
- Collaborate with the design and construction teams to develop accurate and competitive cost estimates.
- Review project plans, specifications, and drawings to understand the project requirements and scope.
- Conduct thorough analysis of project needs, including material, labor, and equipment costs.
- Solicit and evaluate subcontract bids for proposals.
- Utilize value engineering techniques to optimize project costs while maintaining quality and performance.
- Prepare comprehensive and detailed estimates, proposals, and presentations for clients.
- Participate in project kick-off meetings and provide ongoing support to project teams.
- Monitor project cost throughout the construction process and identify potential cost-saving opportunities.
- Maintain accurate records of estimates, bids, and project-related documentation.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, or related field preferred.
- 5+ years of experience in construction estimating
